A Healer By Nature
Pendalin Chronicles - Book 2
“Confidence starts with sass and attitude. Fake it ‘til you make it.” - Faye
Can the orphaned Fey-girl find her inner strength and meet the challenges that teenage life throws her way? How can she leave her foster family when it’s time to venture out into the world?
Faye returns to Austin Academy for her second year of magical mayhem and adolescent angst. Her powers have propelled her forward into an uncertain future, complicated by navigating new friendships and adult expectations. She may be a healer by nature, but Faye is torn between duty and dream. Despite mistakes and stubbornness, she is determined to achieve her heart’s desire - seeking the Lost Emblems of Pendalin.
With political plots and the suffering of innocents, how can Faye remain focused on graduating with honours? And what will she do about all these pesky boys who have suddenly developed romantic notions?

A Child Called Faye
Pendalin Chronicles - Book 1
What is so special about Grydin? Why would a mysterious woman risk her life, and that of her unborn child, just to reach a village hidden amongst snowlocked mountains?
Born in the depths of winter, a child called Faye is orphaned. Hated by the village, the half-Fey child is ridiculed and mistreated.
Yet, full of courage and determination, Faye pursues her dreams and enters the coveted Austin Academy to become a Seeker. In this prestigious school of academics, sorcery and healing, Faye must navigate the murky terrain of friendship and foe to achieve her goals.
If she fails, or is caught making mischief, she faces expulsion. No family and no influence means that Faye must rely on her talents and tenacity.
Can she pass her first year? Will her foster-family accept her back, come summer? Can her best-friend Zen keep its mouth shut long enough for Faye to graduate?
Find out in the first instalment of The Pendalin Chronicles: A Child Called Faye.
